Layout Interface

 

This is used to define the layout of the Self Help Interface. Using this feature, you can customize the Self Help Interface according to your website’s look and feel.

 

To customize the Layout Interface:

1.      Click Help Desk Software, helpdesk software, customer support software, customer service software, trouble ticket software, knowledgebase from the main menu bar.

2.      On the View Settings page, click Public Self Help Help Desk Software, helpdesk software, customer support software, customer service software, trouble ticket software, knowledgebase.

3.      Public Self Help Interface page opens, as shown in the Figure 6-1-1. This page will give a brief description on all the interfaces (Layout, FAQ, Find, Answer, Support Ticket, and Style), which are needed to create and customize the layout and content for the Self Help.

 

Tip: You can also click on Help Desk Software, helpdesk software, customer support software, customer service software, trouble ticket software, knowledgebase from the toolbar to access the Public Self Help Interface directly.

4.      Click on Help Desk Software, helpdesk software, customer support software, customer service software, trouble ticket software, knowledgebase to open the Layout Interface page. Enter the required information in the following fields, as shown in the Figure 6-1-2:

 

Field
Description

Header

Define the top section of a page.

Footer

Define the bottom section of a page.

Left Panel

Define the left section of a page.

Right Panel

Define the right section of a page.

 

Note: All content must be in HTML, as shown in the Figure 6-1-2.

 

5.      Click Help Desk Software, helpdesk software, customer support software, customer service software, trouble ticket software, knowledgebase to save the layout settings.
